Fire Exit signs must be located in prominent positions to support safe, fast and efficient evacuation of employees and visitors in the event of a fire. For escape route signage, while good sign design practice is important, the correct application and positioning of those signs is of equal significance in ensuring an effective signing system is in place and that they adhere to any fire risk assessments that have been carried out.
